Pretest


Pretests are surveys of small samples under testing conditions and an analysis of the test results. They are conducted before the actual survey takes place. Pretests are aimed at checking the questionnaire and field material for their comprehensibility and ease of handling. In this way problems and mistakes can be revised before conducting the final survey.
