Frequency table

A frequency table represents the frequency of parameter values of a certain characteristic. The observed data from different categories are put into relation to each other. Frequency tables are mostly arranged in the ascending size of the measured values.

However, other types of classification can be useful in certain cases, i.e. absolute, relative or cumulated frequencies, depending on the requirements. Frequency tables can be created as one- or two-dimensional arrays.
