Employee satisfaction
Employee satisfaction develops if a comparison between the employee's expectations and the meeting of expectations or subjectively experienced performance in relation to e.g. job contents and conditions, training opportunities, right to say or superiors is positive.
That means satisfaction arises if his expectations are over-fulfilled. In case this comparison is negative dissatisfaction of the employee with his employer arises. By conducting employee surveys companies are able to assess the satisfaction of their staff and determine all relevant factors of influence.
