European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQ)
It is a non-profit organisation with more than 800 European business members. EFQM's vision is to position European organisations within the global competition in an outstanding way by providing them with an all-embracing management method.
This method enables businesses to achieve excellence and lasting, outstanding performance across all management levels. (Total Quality Management)
The EFQM developed a management modell consisting of 9 criteria which is known as the "EFQM Model for Excellence". It enables companies to determine their present position on the way to excellence as well as potentials for improvement and to accompany their continous process of improvement.
