Competitor analysis


The competitor analysis is a type of market research that is geared towards rival companies and their strategies and measures. The analysis is aimed at determining a company's position in relation to the competition concerning product/service offers, market shares and sales-political measures.

If conducted carefully within the scope of a strategy it is able to deliver profound knowledge about business potentials of one's own company as well as that of competitive companies.
