Brand loyalty


Brand loyalty means that customers are bound or loyal to a certain product or service - and therefore to its brand - in the long run.

Brand-loyal behaviour can be identified by:

  • repurchase,
  • additional purchase and/or
  • recommendation to third parties.

Brand loyalty may result from:

  • customer satisfaction with the performance
  • price of a certain product or service
  • identification with brand image.
